Pamela J. Rupnow, O.D.
Optometrist

Dr. Rupnow is a graduate of Indiana University with a Doctor of Optometry and Bachelor of Science in Vision Science. She is a member of both the Minnesota and American Optometric Associations and is currently an examiner for the National Board of Optometry. Dr. Rupnow enjoyed participating in two humanitarian eyecare missions with Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity and Eye Care International traveling to Nicaragua and Mexico. Her optometric interests also include Primary care, contact lenses, and pediatrics/binocular vision. She lives in Bloomington.

Favorite food?

Turkey Schnizel. Odd yes, but you gotta try it.

If you have $5 left what would you spend it on? Phone call to my niece's and nephew's. They put the sparkle in my eye.
Amount of time you can hold your breath?

60 seconds

What is your least favorite vegetable?

asparagus; just like my good friend Jerry Seinfeld

What is your most memorable/embarrassing summer job? was a janitor in an all-male dorm after 9 months of freshman boys. Dirty Jobs should be calling me at any moment.
What is the scariest thing that has ever happened to you? Being in a car between an elephant cub and it's mom while in South Africa. The mom was NOT pleased to say the least.
Favorite Charity? Feed the Children
What have you done that no one would guess? A maccaw was sitting on my shoulder and was reaching to bite my earring at the same time I turned. He managed to pop my contact lens out and it was sitting on his beak
